Venus 7000: How do I set Gamma?

Steps

 

There are multiple Gamma setting options but only 2 are commonly used.  Manual gamma, and Scripting Manual gamma

  1. Manual Gamma
    1. From the V7000 Shell select the Display Button
    2. Select the Display Tab
    3. Expand the Local expansion box
    4. Highlight the Host Sign (output sign)
    5. Click on the Control Drop down from the top menu and select Gamma
    6. Select Manual Gamma Radial dial
    7. Select the Gamma level desired.  2.2 is normal Day time and 2.8 to 3.0 is normal night time.
    8. Select Apply
    9. Select OK
  2. Scripting -
    1. Go to Scripting page
    2. Select Open Cell, Right click on it and edit cell.  Give the cell a name.
    3. Right click on the same cell and select edit script file
    4. Add line
    5. Select SetGamma and click Next
    6. Select the Display to adjust and click next
    7. Select the Gamma mode which is Manual then click next.
    8. Select the Gamma level to be set and click next then finish.
    9. Click Close
    10. Test Button
