Steps
- File Paths - File Paths tell the Software where to find other programs it will use, and where the Data will be stored.
- Select the drop down box next to Path to Programs.
- Select the option for where the V7000 Programs reside. Example: D:\V7000 will generally be used when there is a D drive.
- If the option is not available, use the Browse button to locate the correct location.
- Select the Drop down under Path to Data.
- Select the Option for where the Content will be stored for the V7000 Signs. Example D:\V7000 will generally be used when there is a D drive.
- If the option is not available, use the Browse button to locate the correct location.
- Select the drop down box next to Path to Programs.
- Services - Services are used to connect the local computer to others (The DMP-7000 should have the Local Service for itself, and a network path to other DMP-7000 computers).
- Click on Add Service.
- In the Enter new service name dropdown press the down arrow. It will take some time for this to populate but select Local.
- In the Connection Type drop down select the down arrow, select local.
- Click OK.
- To add other DMP-7000s Click on Add Service.
- In the Enter new service name dropdown press the down arrow. It will take some time for this to populate, select the Computer name for the computer to be added.
- In the Connection Type drop down Select Network.
- Click OK.
- File Servers - Is the path to the data on this computer. There should be at least 2 file servers on the computer. The Local Drive location of the DMP 7000, and the network Drive location for the DMP 7000.
- Click on Add Server.
- Select the Local Drive\V7000 extension. Example D:\V7000.
- Click OK.
- Click on Add Server.
- Select the Network path for the V7000. Example \\V7Main-P-V7000.
- Click On OK.
- Restart Sign Service.
