  • Control System: VNC software, DVS Software

Steps

  1. VNC into the SBC.
  2. Restart the SBC.
    1. Go to the Windows Icon at the top.
    2. Then go to restart.
  3. Once it comes back up, go to the Start Icon at the top again.
  4. Close DVS runner (command prompt) and chrome / chromium.
    1. Right click on the command prompt and close it.
    2. Click the windows icon again.
    3. Right click chrome / chromium and close the window.
  5. Disable the write filter.
    1. Right click on the command prompt icon.
    2. Choose run a administrator.
    3. Type ewfmgr -all -commitanddisable -live.
  6. Once the cursor is at available again and you see C:\Users:\Administrator> the filter should be disabled.
  7. After this is disable you can make the appropriate changes.
  8. To enable the write filter.
    1. Right click on the command prompt icon.
    2. Choose run as administrator.
    3. Type ewfmgr -all -enable.
    4. After you press enter you should see ENABLE behind Boot Command in the list- this will cause the write filter to restart after Windows is restarted.
  9. Restart the SBC .
    1. Go to the Windows Icon at the top.
    2. Then go to restart.
