Content Studio fails to launch from within Venus Control Suite (VCS), Content Studio was not installed as Administrator
Potential Symptoms
- Error while launching Content Studio: "Content Studio experienced problems when starting and will have to close."
- Error while launching Content Studio: "Content Studio could not log in to the Venus Control Suite server using the provided credentials. Please re-enter your account information and try again."
- Nucleus Errors on a new Content Studio install.

Cause
- Content Studio was installed without forcing the Administrator privileges.
Resolution
- Right click the Content Studio Installation File, Select "Run as Administrator", and click "Allow" and "Yes" to any prompts from Windows User Account Control (UAC), Windows Firewall, and Antivirus programs. If so prompted, choose to "Repair" the previous Content Studio installation.
- It may be necessary to close out of Venus Control Suite (VCS), and sign in again, to allow proper operation after the installation.
