Environment

  • Product Family: Audio
  • Product: 500HD, 1500HD, 2000HD, or Custom System
  • Components: A-2261 Shure DFR-22
  • Control System: SSR-300 or Custom

Steps


  1. Install the Shure DFR22 Audio Processor software from http://www.shure.com/americas/products/mixers-dsp/dfr22-audio-processor#downloads
  2. Plug in a USB to Serial adapter, (A-2221 for example)
    • Install drivers, if not already installed.
  3. Check what COM port your serial adapter is using:
    • Go to Start>Control Panel
    • Click Device Manager
    • Expand Ports (COM & LPT).
    • Check your serial port's COM number.

  4. Open the DFR22 software
  5. Go to Device>Select COM Port

  6. Set the COM port to the one found in Device Manager
  7. Click Recall Preset to see a list of presets programmed onto the device and which preset numbers they are.

    1. Recalling a preset from this screen may show more information on the main screen as to what processing is going on and input names
    2. It is not recommended to change the presets as changing them may cause undesirable operation.
