Schedule interrupt, content that is playing is not part of schedule; Controller lock up

Potential Symptoms

  • "Schedule interrupt, content is playing is not part of a schedule" error in Venus Control Suite dashboard.
  • Dashboard showing Schedule interrupt error but No schedule interrupts are playing currently or set up for the future.  
  • Old content is playing and stuck on this playlist, will not update to new playlist.  

Environment

  • Product Family: Message Displays
  • Product: GS6, GP3, GP4, Galaxy with M-Bridge
  • Component: Display Controller
  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS)

Cause

  • Controller locked up.

Resolution

  • Cycle power or reset sign at breaker (leaving off at least 1 min).
    • May be able to simply reset display via VCS if there is no M-Bridge.
