DMP-8000; Fullscreen Zone Not Playing on Top of All Other Zones

Potential Symptoms

  • Fullscreen zone playing over some, but not all of the other zones in the layout file.

Environment

Cause

  • Fullscreen zone not set to bottom of zone list in the .layout file.

Resolution

  •  Move Fullscreen zone to bottom of list of zones in the .layout file.
    1. Open .layout file in notepad or similar text editing program - the file lives in the content folder on the DMP-8000
    2. Cut the script line that has the Zone ID as Fullscreen
    3. Paste that line at the bottom of the zone list and save the file.
    4. Restart the DMP-8000 or re-trigger the layout file from a button in Show Control to apply changes.
