Environment

  • Product: Billboard, Galaxy, GS6, DB-4200, DB-5000
  • Component: Sierra Wireless CDMA Modem GX450, LS300, GX400, GX440, GX450, ES450, RV50, MP70
  • Control System: DMP-8000, DMP-5050

Steps

  • The RV50 configuration page is slightly different for earlier modems:
    1. Log into modem interface.
    2. Choose the WAN/Cellular tab on the top.
    3. Choose the SIM 1 Slot Configuration on the left.
      1. The SIM card needs to be inserted into slot 1
    4. Expand Network Credentials.
    5. Locate the line titled User Entered APN and enter the APN.
    6. Click Apply and reboot the modem if prompted.
    7. After the modem reboots, verify that it comes online with the correct public IP address.
