Display dim, Light sensor status green, but value of 0, failed photocell.

Potential Symptoms

  • Display is dim and will not brighten from minimum brightness level (usually 1.1).
  • Photocell appears healthy (green) in "Configuration" > "Peripherals" tab but is sending a light level value of 0 in the "Advanced" > "Status" tab.
  • Display is not switching to GPS dimming, the display is dim as the photocell is still showing green status or healthy.
  • Power cycling makes no change.
  • Photocell status is disconnected in the VIP peripherals configuration.
  • Deleting and re-adding light sensor from peripherals makes no change.
  • Updating firmware makes no change.
