Potential Symptoms

  • After new install sign is still blank after publishing new playlist even though everything is configured properly.

  • Component: DMP-5060, Ethernet-Bridge Radios (EBRs)
  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS)

Cause

  • One or more message(s) in the playlist are large video files or large media files which take longer to transmit over radios.

Resolution

  • Wait for content to publish.

For Temporary Operation

  • Remove the large files from the playlist and let the smaller files publish then re-add the larger files so something can be displayed while the larger files upload.
