ECCB Display blank; Controller output failure

Potential Symptoms

  • Display is blank with no boot up sequence, and no heartbeat LED.
  • Able to connect to the web browser control page, but no content or test patterns will play on the sign.
  • Controller status lights are rapidly flashing red but replacing the first SATA cable and first module in the row, makes no difference
    • (Controller isn't recognizing the connection to the module. Lights should be yellow or red, and white.)case 899982_1-17-2017 11-55-53 AM.jpg

  • Controller SATA jack not outputting correctly.

  • Replace controller.
