Section of display out, power line to a power supply is damaged
Potential Symptoms
- Section of the display is blank.
- Power supply is not running.
- Replacing the power supply doesn't help.
- Seeing 120VAC where the power leaves the terminal panel to the power supply.
Environment
- DB-2000
- DB-2100
Cause
- One or more of the power lines in the cable between the terminal panel and the power supply is damaged and electrically open.
Resolution
- Cut out damaged wire and reconnect if possible if it can be done without splicing.
- Replace the cable if necessary.
Work Around
- Repair the wire by splicing if need be.
