Steps

  • The standard 1 input video control rack supports composite/S-Video (480i only) and component analog input (480i or 720p) into the analog to digital converter (ADC).  This converter is there to ensure reliable video capture (bypassing this converter is unsupported).
    • The dipswitch settings will change on the ADC depending on whether composite, S-video, or component is going to be utilized (see label on ADC).
  • If wanting to bring in any HDMI, DP, or DVI digital sources, the ADC can bypassed and one can bring a direct SDI connection into the Ultra Studio (would need HDMI/DP/DVI to SDI converter).  It is also possible to get an HDMI to component converter and plug that into the ADC.
