Content Studio, Unable to increase the duration of a piece of content, Video as background
Potential Symptoms
- Unable to increase or decrease the duration of a slide or piece of content in content studio.
- Clicking the up or down arrows within Layout Storyboard does nothing to increase or decrease the duration of the slide.
- If right-clicking on the content to alter its duration properties, you may receive the following error:
- "The duration entered is too large. Maximum duration is X seconds."

Cause
- The slide has a video as the background. The slides duration is determined by (or at least defaults to) the duration of the video.
Resolution
- The proper process must be followed to alter the duration of the layout and video prior to editing the rest of the components.
