Play clock showing leading 0 when time gets under 10 seconds, configuration change

Potential Symptoms

  • Play clock is showing the leading zero when times goes under 10 seconds. (example: 09, 08, 07, 6, 05... instead of  9, 8, 7, 6, 5...)

Environment

  • Play clock timer
  • TI-2003
  • AS-5000

Cause

  • Reset time set with leading zero. (*0:25, 00:25)

Resolution

  • Change the reset time to have no leading zeros. (**:25)
    1. Press Menu.
    2. Scroll down to Edit Settings press Enter.
    3. Scroll down to Play Clock Time, Reset 1.
    4. Enter the 2 digit time. Example: 20, 25, 40. Do not press 0 before entering times.
    5. Press Enter. LCD will advance to Play Clock Time, Reset 2.
    6. Enter the 2 digit time. Example: 20, 25, 40. Do not press 0 before entering times.
    7. Press Menu to return to the game screen.
    8. Test time settings.
