Fuelight: Prices not updating and update display button is pressed; Price line edited is not active

Potential Symptoms

  • Price/s not updating when edited on the DM-100 and update display button is pressed.
  • Price in DM-100 reflects price change but sign does not update.

Environment

  • Product: FL-2000, FL-4000 , FL-3000, FLW-3000, FL-4500
  • Component: FLR-1500, FLR3-1500, FLD-2000, or FLD3-2000 communication kits
  • Control System: DM-100

Cause

  • Incorrect price line being edited on DM-100 then sent to sign.
    • Price change was performed on price line that is not active (Price was edited for Price line 5 and sent to sign but site only has product that displays Line 1 price).

Resolution

  1. Make price edit in DM-100 for the correct product line using up/down arrow and selecting respective line and entering new price.
  2. Press Update Display button in upper right corner of DM-100
    • May have to accept POS override if connected to a POS (Point of Sale) System.
