Venus Reporting: Proof of Play report is missing scheduled content

Potential Symptoms

  • Report is not showing everything that was scheduled/played.
  • Report being run may be blank..

Environment

  • Product: GS6, GC6
  • Component: Proof Of Play (POP) reports
  • Control System: Venus Control Suite (VCS) Daktronics Hosted, VCS Local Hosted

Cause

  • The report was ran without including unassociated files.
    • Media files were left unassociated in the media library when uploaded.
    • The files were not associated with an account.
    • When creating the report the "Include unassociated files" check box was not marked.

Resolution

  • Associate the files with an account and rerun the report, or rerun the report and put a check mark next to Include unassociated files.
    • For Unassociated Content:  Run the proof of play report again. Under Accounts, check the box next to include unassociated files. (This should be done always.)
    • For Account Associated Content:  Associate any unassociated content to the account and re-run the report for the specific account.  (You should still check the box to include unassociated files.)
