NFL GSIS Issues - Chyron not receiving specific player statistics or receiving incorrect values.

Environment

Cause

  • Last minute roster changes on the GSIS end did not correctly transfer over to NFL Interface causing issues with the NFLSummary.mdb.

    Resolution

    • Verify that the GSIS Roster matches up with the roster viewable in the NFL Interface
      • If it does not, select the player in question and manually correct the player number.
      • If you cannot manually edit player data, verify that the NFL has the correct roster or can correct the roster.
        • Then manually delete the roster of the team in question and have GSIS resend the correct or corrected roster.
        • You may need to clear all data in NFL Interface before the issue is resolved.

    NOTE: "Clear All Data" and replacing the NFLSummary.mdb does not affect rosters. The best method for avoiding issues is to manually delete all players in NFL Interface before GSIS pushes the official roster on GameDay.
