Can the Optional Temperature Sensor cable be extended and what is the maximum length?

  • Can the cable for the Optional Temperature Sensor be extended and what is the maximum length?
    • I am unable to mount temp sensor per recommendations, cable that is provided with the sensor is too short to locate in optimal location.

Steps

  • Yes the cable can be extended.
    • Refer to Parts List in ED-14377 for cable options.
      1. There are 30ft, 100ft, and 200ft extension cables that have the correct circular ends to be used with the Quick Connect (QC) cable and QC input card without separate wiring.
      2. The 22 AWG has no connectors and will need to be hardwired to the controller and temperature sensor with a maximum distance of 500 ft.
