How to add a sign in Vanguard V3 software
Environment
- Windows XP OS
- Vanguard V3 Software
- NTCIP-compliant display
Steps
- Login to Vanguard V3 software.
- Click on Vanguard Display Manager.
- Select Tools in the upper left corner of the Vanguard Central Display Manager window, then select New Sign Wizard... from the drop-down menu.
- Follow the prompts in the wizard to:
- Set up Network (and Backup Network if applicable), then click the Next button;
- Choose from Existing Model or select New Model, then click the Next button;
- If New Model, select Full or Line Matrix, then click the Next button;
- Enter the Sign Height, Sign Width, and Color depth; then click the Next button;
- Select correct Font Table, then click the Next button;
- Click on Next button (leave Automatic checkbox checked for model name), then click the Next button;
- Select correct Manufacturer profile, then click the Next button;
- Sign ID is automatically selected, leave hardware address at 1 (should coincide with display's hardware address, so change if necessary), uncheck Send Email Notifications unless desired, then click the Next button;
- Select correct Time Zone and Daylight Savings Time, the click the Next button;
- Enter sign name and click Finish.
