Ethernet Bridge Radio (EBR) no communication, Unable to ping server; Failed server radio

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to communicate through Ethernet Bridge Radios (EBR's).
  • Network connection status indicates "Network cable unplugged."
  • EBR radio diagnostic tool showing a RSSI level of -100 to the server radio.
  • Unable to ping server radio.
  • The server radio does have power from the DCI, but does not have an ETH link light.

Cause

  • Failed server radio.

NOTE: 900X Ethernet Bridge Radios do not have the function to respond to ping or work with EBR Diagnostics.

Resolution

  • Replace the Ethernet Bridge Radios (EBR).
