What is the proper startup procedure for multicast displays controlled by All Sport 5500?

Environment

  • Multicast (ColorSmart) driver fixed digit display
  • All Sport 5500 Control Console
  • Boot up procedure

Steps


Before turning the console on, the following steps should be done to ensure that the driver receives the digit configuration: 
  1. Confirm that all scoreboards are powered up.
  2. Confirm that all scoreboards are connected to the console using wire or radio.
  3. Turn All Sport 5500 console on.
  4. Press <NO> to RESUME GAME prompt.
  5. Enter new or use existing code number and press <ENTER>.
  6. If radio, enter new or use existing Broadcast Group and Channel Number and press <ENTER>.
  7. Console will begin broadcast of digit assignment.
  8. Once complete, the scoreboard will show Game In Progress, GIP data.
