Scoreboard blank, cable from antenna to receiver is disconnected.

Potential Symptoms

  • Scoreboard goes through POST then goes blank even though both the console and scoreboard have securely connected antennas in line of site.
  • All on test does not light the scoreboard.

Environment

  • Product Family: Sports Product
  • Product: Wireless Scoreboard
  • Component: All Sport Gen 5 or Gen 6 receiver (R5/R6)
  • Control System: All Sport 5000 series console, All sport 1600 series console

Cause

  • Antenna cable is not making a secure connection between antenna and radio receiver.
    • Wire may become loose at receiver or at coaxial end that antenna screws onto.

Resolution

  • Ensure antenna cable is securely connected between the antenna and the radio receiver.
    • If unable to securely attach, call Daktronics for replacement.
