SCS, Old message showing on sign, when clicking on the Quick Display button after editing message in Content Studio

Potential Symptoms

  • After editing and saving message in Content Studio and clicking on the Quick Display linked to the message, old message shows up on the sign.

Environment

  • Product Family: Message Display
  • Product: Galaxy, GalaxyPro (AF-3700 only), SportStar, Scorer's Table
  • Component:  Show Control Software (SCS) 1.20.0.5 or newer
  • Control System: Show Control / Display Studio

Cause

  • Old message is still on the player, newly edited message has not been sent to Player Files.

Resolution

  • Send newly edited message to the Player Files, overwriting old one.
    1. Click on M3 File Manager.
    2. Locate and select desired message and click on > button to send message to the Player Files.
    3. Close M3 File Manager.
    4. Click on Quick Display button linked to message to play new message.
