Environment

  • Product Family: Transportation
  • Product: Vanguard Display (VF-2XXX-96X336-20-RGB)
  • Component: VFC-3000 Controller
  • Control System: LCD Simulator

Cause

  • Default font for the controller is too small for the message to display properly on these bigger displays.

Resolution

  • Log into the controller.
  • Main Menu:
    • Go to CONFIGURATION
    • SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
    • CONFIGURE DISPLAY
    • Arrow down
    • Choose DEFAULT FONT
    • Arrow down 3 times
    • Choose 24X15_3_CP1252.FNT
  • Go back to message creation and create a message.

For Temporary Operation

  • Use Vanguard Software to create a message, choose the larger font when creating a message in Vanguard Software.
