Galaxy display showing content that is not scheduled for today

Potential Symptoms

  • Display lost power during a storm and now the display is showing content that was scheduled for last week instead of the content that is scheduled for today.
  • Content is running on the display that was scheduled to end.
  • Scheduled content still running after end date and time have been reached.
  • Old content running after scheduled end date.
  • Wrong time showing on the display.

  • Component: Controller Time
  • Control System: Venus 1500 version 4

Cause

  • Time and date are wrong on the controller.

Resolution

  • Update the time and date on the controller:
    1. Click the little white arrow to the right of display drop down list.

    2. Click Set Time/Date.
    3. Confirm the time updates in the Home Tab under display status.
