Scoreboard is blank, Will not POST; Radio Interference from another console

Potential Symptoms

  • Scoreboard may be blank.
  • Scoreboard may show information that should not be there.
  • No POST (Power On Self Test).
  • All On test does not light board.
  • When it's All Sport or MX-1 is shut off the In Range LED on the radio receiver is still lit up.
  • If you have an MX-1, you can press the "Turn on Scoreboard" button on the Dak Score App and try run it but your changes are not reflected on the board. The Dak Score App doesn't give any indication that the MX-1 is not able to reach the scoreboard.
  • Scoreboard is still on when the all sport console or MX-1 is turned off.

Cause

  • Another nearby console is set to the same broadcast/channel or b0c0 and causing interference.

Resolution

For Temporary Operation

  • Turn power off to the nearby console that is interfering.
