V7000, Display Blank after restart

Potential Symptoms

  • After V7000 PC restarts, displays are blank.

Environment

  • Product: Venus 7000
  • Component: Power Failure Recovery
  • Control System: Venus 7000

Cause

  • Power Failure Recovery not enabled or no Sequence specified.

Resolution

  • Enable Power Failure Recovery and verify Sequence is specified.
    1. Click on Configuration in Venus 7000 Shell.
    2. Click on Signs tab.
    3. Click on sign with driver assigned and choose Edit Sign.
    4. Click on Advanced tab.
    5. Check the radial for Enable Power Failure Recovery.
    6. Select Sequence to play.
    7. Click OK.
    8. Will have to restart Sign Services for this to take affect.

For Temporary Operation

  • After computer restarts play Sequence or Schedule from Script or Manually.
