  • M3 display (SSL, SS, AF-3700, AF-3500, AF-3550, AF-3551)
  • Show Control (SCS)
    • Display Studio
  • Daktronics Communication Server (DCS)
  • FinishLynx w/ NCP plug-in
  • Hy-Tek version 4.0Be or greater

Answer/Steps

  1. Reference the following sections of the Track & Field Interfaces for Scoreboards & Displays Setup Guide, DD3059635:
    1. Section 4.3 for FinishLynx setup/configuration.
    2. Section 4.5 for Hy-Tek setup/configuration.
      1. Number of rows for header must equal the number of header rows in the RTD sequence.  Remember Line 1 & 2 in the Hy-Tek Results profile are the 2 header lines.
      2. Number of rows for lanes must equal the number of results rows in the RTD sequence.  Remember that Line 3 in the Hy-Tek Results profile is the start of the lane results.  Therefore Line 3=Lane 1; Line 4=Lane 2 and so on.
      3. Number of characters per row must equal the number of columns in the RTD sequence.   
    3. Section 4.7 for DCS setup/configuration.
    4. Section 5.1 for Display Studio sequence creation. 
  2. To send Hy-Tek data to the display see section 4.6 of the above manual for instructions on how to send data from Hy-Tek.
  3. To test FinishLynx running time choose "Scoreboard" and then put a check mark next to Show time of day. This may require Lynx to be re-started.
