  • Update to the latest version follow: How Do I Update or Download Venus 1500 V4 software?, DD1993540

Work Around

If unable to update to the latest

or

If utilizing 56K Dialup communications you will need to utilize Venus V4.19.2

  1. Save the "lserv.lic" file to the computer.
  2. Launch Venus 1500 V4.
  3. Click on orange "V" in upper left corner of Venus application window.
  4. Click Help>Registration then click on "Register"
  5. Click on "Yes" on Restart Prompt to continue.
  6. If the Customer Information page is already filled in, then Click on the "Register Software" in top right.
    • If Customer Information page is not filled in, items with an "*" will need to be filled in before you can continue.
  7. Click on "Browse" button in lower right and browse to the location where the "lserv.lic" file was saved on the computer, select file, and click "Open".
    • This will pull in and populate the registration code that is stored in the "lserv.lic" file into the Registration Code window.
  8. Click on "Register Venus 1500" button in lower right corner of Registration window.
  9. A Reboot is required after applying the registration code.
