Failed to connect to the V-Net Player

Potential Symptoms

  • Error saving in Content Studio



Environment

  • Content Studio

Cause

  • Someone changed the password on the VNET

Resolution

  1. On the machine with Display Studio, close out of content studio and Display Studio
  2. Navigate to "My Computer"
  3. Navigate to "My Network places"
  4. Select the VNET that is prompting the error when saving
  5. Enter in the login credentials (ie. COMPUTERNAME\USERACCOUNT) and the password it was changed to
  6. Reopen content studio and resume saving

  1. Change the password back
