Shot Clock: How do I blank the game time on a shot clock?

  • Product: BB-2109, BB-2111, BB-2115, BB-2130, BB-2131, BB-2132, BB-2140, BB-2141, BB-3140, BB-3141
  • Component: Shot clock with both shot and game time
  • Control System: All Sport 5000

Steps

Note: these settings should be changed back to their default after use.  If left this way will cause the All Sport to not function properly.
  1. On the All Sport 5000 console, press the [MENU] button.
  2. Scroll down to [EDIT SETTINGS].
  3. Scroll down to "Shot Clock - Mode Sync W/Main?" and push <NO> to disable and allow the shot clock to run independently of the main clock.
  4. Scroll down one more to "Shot Clock - Mode Auto Blank?" and push <NO> to disable and allow the shot time to display when the clock is blank.
  5. Press the [SET MAIN CLOCK] button.
  6. LCD will display "MAIN CLOCK - SET / CURR --:45" (or the time currently displayed on the shot clocks).
  7. Press the RIGHT ARROW to display the flashing asterisk.
  8. Press the [CLEAR/NO] button instead of entering game time.
  9. LCD will display "MAIN CLOCK - SET / CURR --:-- *" with a flashing asterisk.
  10. Press [ENTER/YES].
  11. Main clocks will now be blank and will allow the operation of the shot clocks.
