Fuelight 3000/4500, Gas price display will intermittently go blank, Turning the sign off and back on may cause it to come back up
Potential Symptoms
- Gas price display will intermittently be blank when turned back on in the morning.
- Displays are being turned off at night and turned back on in the morning and intermittently have blank displays.
Environment
- Fuelight 3000/4500
- FL-3000, FL-4500
- Gas Price or Petroleum Price Display, FL digit product
- Displays are on timers or displays are being turned off for an extended period of time
Cause
- Firmware.
Resolution
- Update all drivers in the sign structure to rev 28 or higher.
Workaround
- Avoid turning displays off at night.
- If using DM-100 to control displays you can set displays into a blank state using the handheld.
- Turning the sign off and back on may cause it to come back up.
