Potential Symptoms

  • Able to connect to the display on the local network but cannot connect to the display via public IP address.
  • Unable to connect via public IP address or on local network but can via direct connect using laptop.

Cause

  • Default gateway was not assigned or is incorrect in the controller network settings.

Resolution

  • Enter the correct default gateway (routers internal IP address) to the display.
