Script Buttons set to Continuous Play will lock up after the first cycle.

Potential Symptoms

  • Continuous mode will not work correctly with the buttons; It will play the sequence once then lock up.
  • Pressing another button (set to continuous) will send that content to the display, but act the same way.
  • When setting the button to play a certain number of times, it will cycle through that amount then lock up at the end.

Environment

  • SCS/Display Studio
  • DMP-8000/DVX/DVN

Cause

  • Primary.ini file has an incorrect setting on the DMP-8000/VNet:  [video] loop=no.

Resolution

  • Change to loop=yes, save the Primary.ini file and Restart the VNet Player.
