AF-3500 or AF-3550 has section of display showing discoloration or is dim

Potential Symptoms

  • Section of display discolored; may be intermittent ( i.e. Yellow colors look orange, White looks pink).
  • Modules or section of modules are dim (if only a section, they are dimmer than rest of display modules).

Cause

  • Voltage Adjust (Voltage Regulator or Voltage Detect) is unplugged or not well seated at module in the section the power supply is servicing.

Resolution

  • Connect the two-wired harness into any module (powered by the corresponding power supply) so it can regulate the power voltage coming out of that power supply.
