GP4 (DMP-8065) display is cutting part of temperature reading and displaying the rest at top or bottom of the message frame when the temperature reaches into the 100s.

Potential Symptoms

  • Display is cutting part of temperature reading and displaying the rest at top or bottom of the message frame, or wrapping occurs when the temperature reaches into the 100s.
  • Display is cutting part of the date off, pushing part to the top and part to the bottom and having half of it cut off.
  • Display is cutting part of the time off, pushing part to the top and part to the bottom and having half of it cut off.

Environment

Cause

  • The RTD frame in the created message is not big enough to accommodate the maximum size.  Word wrapping is occurring.

Resolution

  • Modify the existing message to have a bigger RTD frame and republish the message to the display.
