FL-3000/4500, when line mapping displays getting L10 rather than L01 on one display.

Potential Symptoms

  • When addressing the gas price displays getting L10 rather then L01 on one display.
  • When changing address's it could show L20, L30, L40 and so on. It also may display L.91, L.92, L.93, L.94.
  • When trying to change prices, it takes 10 changes for the price on the display to adjust.

Cause

  • Output harnesses from the driver are flipped around between two digits.
    • If the 9/10ths output is used for a digit that digit will stay on 9. Example: L.91 has the 9/10ths output plugged into the dime digit

Resolution

  • Plug the proper output harnesses from the driver to the correct digits.
