    • Alter Failed. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)
    • An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. (Microsoft.SqlServer.ConnectionInfo)
    • A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 233)

Environment

  • Venus 1500 v4
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (Only)

Cause

  • The true cause is unknown at this time.

Resolution

Step 1: Restart the SQL Server (NUCLEUS) or Restart the computer.

Step 2: Try enabling Microsoft SQL Server 2005 CLR integration feature again.

  1. Go to Windows Start menu -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -> Configuration Tools and click on SQL Server 2005 Surface Area Configuration.
  2. Click on Surface Area Configuration for Features.
  3. From the left panel, select CLR Integration.
  4. Place a check next to Enable CLR integration.
  5. Click Apply and Ok.
