One in a set of grouped displays has one presentation missing

Potential Symptoms

  • One display in the group is not playing one of the presentations
  • The presentation that is not playing on the sign is listed in Running Presentations in Venus 1500 for this sign
  • 1 GPR display in a set of grouped displays has 1 presentation missing on sign

Environment

  • Multiple GalaxyPro Revolution (GPR) displays
  • Displays are all part of a group in the Venus 1500 SW
  • Venus 1500 V4

Cause

  • Possible memory issue on controller in display

Resolution

  1. Connect to the individual display using M4config
  2. Click on down arrow to the right of the Reset Display (Lightning Bolt), then click on Reset and Clear Sign MemoryM4config clear sign memory.jpg

  3. Allow controller in display to reboot
  4. Reconnect in Venus 1500, sign should have no running or stored presentations listed
  5. Re-publish the current schedule and verify sign is running all the scheduled messages
