DakTennis v3: No output to scoreboard from All Sport

Cause

  • Com ports are swapped around in DakTennis.

Resolution

Use the following steps if the customer is using USB to Serial connections:

  1. First, right click on My Computer on the desktop if there is a shortcut, otherwise click start and right click on it in the list.
  2. Click on Properties.
  3. Click on Device Manager.
  4. Click on the arrow next to ports to drop down the available ones.
  5. Trace out one that you know is connected, such as one of the USB to serials you can see is connected to the output of DakTennis and watch on the ports in device manager which disappears.
  6. Plug it back in to the DakTennis machine and make sure that is the port set in the output or the input, then move the other over.
