Multiple displays configured in Venus 1500, appears to communicate, but only 1 display will update

Potential Symptoms

  • Multiple displays configured in Venus, all of the configured displays will only change 1 of the displays.
  • Only able to update content on one of the displays.
  • Can not get other displays to update.
  • New install or Re-install of Software

Environment

  • Product: Galaxy Displays
  • Component: Serial Communication
  • Control System: Venus 1500

Cause

  • Software has all the displays configured to address 1.

Resolution

  • Change the displays address settings in Venus 1500 to the appropriate number.  Normally follow a numerical pattern, first being 1, second being 2, etc.
