Cannot communicate to Galaxy display using one specific computer

Potential Symptoms

  • Cannot communicate with Galaxy display using one specific computer.
  • Any other computer can communicate with no issues.
  • There is no Local Area Connection shown under Network Connections.
  • There is no Network Adapter listed under the Device Manager.

Environment

  • Galaxy display
  • Ethernet Communication
  • Venus 1500 software

Cause

  • Computer does not recognize Network Adapter or issue with Network Adapter.

Resolution

  • Install driver for Network Adapter according to directions from computer manufacturer or replace network adapter.

Work Around

  • Use another computer.
