One price display is dim; Issue in decimal harness connector

Topic

  • One price display is dim but both the driver and decimal point are working properly if moved to a known working display.
  • Factory reset to ensure all drivers are set to Automatic Dimming does not resolve issue.

Steps

Cause

  • Pin on signal cable for decimal is not making contact with a pin on the J15 jack.
    • Sensor resides on the decimal.

Resolution

  • Replace the signal cable.

For Temporary Operation

  • Attempt to push pin on signal cable so it can make contact with the female jack on the light sensor.
