FL-3000/4500, Not able to change all prices, connection to communication recently changed

Potential Symptoms

  • Not able to change all prices.
  • DS1 blinking with nothing connected to J16.

Cause

  • Communication was switched from one driver to another. Host needs to be reset.

Resolution

  1. Connect DM-100 to j-box at the base of the sign.
  2. Power cycle the sign, leaving it off about 15 seconds before powering it back on.
  3. Once sign is powered on wait a minimum of 60 seconds.
  4. Try detecting the sign with the DM-100 twice *It will fail the first time.
  5. After the sign is detected go through line mapping and set the address. (if necessary)
  6. Update prices to the correct value.
