Cause

  • The computer housing the Venus 1500 Version v4.18 or greater software has the power policy set to a sleep mode after a certain amount of time. • If using a Laptop, under Plugged In, change to Never.
    • Always leave Laptops plugged into a power source when using Data Feeds.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Windows 8

  1. Hover mouse pointer in bottom right corner, click Search.
  2. Change from searching Apps, by click on Settings.
  3. Type Power Options, and click on Power Options.
  4. Click on Change when the computer sleeps.
  5. Next to Put the computer to sleep, change to Never.
    1. If using a Laptop, under Plugged In, change to Never.
    2. Always leave Laptops plugged into a power source when using Data Feeds.
  6. Click Save Changes
