Cause

  • Temp sensor may not be mounted in best position or the temp source used as a reference is not in same location as sign.

Resolution

  • Venus 1500 Version 4
    1. On the Home tab, click on the White Triangle next to the refresh button to open the Display Tools drop down buttons.
    2. Locate the Temperature offset.  Slide the bar to the positive or negative depending on need which reads in Celsius.
    3. Message in Venus 1500 can be created to read in F degrees or C degrees but only adjusts in Celsius.
    4. Click Set Temperature Offset button to set when within 1 or 2 degrees F of actual temperature out side in display location. 
  • Venus 1500 Version 3
    1. On the Display Manager, click on the Green and Brown gear Diagnostic Control View.
    2. Locate the Temperature offset. Slide the bar to the positive or negative depending on need which reads in Celsius.
    3. Message in Venus 1500 can be created to read in F degrees or C degrees but only adjusts in Celsius.
    4. Click Set Temperature Offset button to set when within 1 or 2 degrees F of actual temperature out side in display location.
