Environment

  • Interactive rack
  • Multimedia device (Xbox, Wii, PlayStation, DVD player, etc.)
  • Composite video
  • Component video
  • SDI

Steps

  1. Connect the device to the appropriate ports on the patch panel (SDI, component, or composite video).
  2. Switch the Harris X50 to use corresponding input (CAV - component, composite, or SDI).
  3. Switch the VLink on the main rack to use the input coming from the interactive rack (script buttons may be setup for this already).
  4. If using Venus Control Suite for content scheduling, schedule the capture .dpf file for the duration you are wanting.
  5. Switch the Nexia on the main rack to unmute the channels coming from the interactive rack ("Event" preset will normally do this for you).
  6. Should have audio and video back from the interactive rack at this point, adjustments may need to be made to the viewable and window areas on the VLink to achieve desired content fit on the display.
