Steps

  1. Press 'Menu'.
  2. Scroll to 'Edit Settings' using arrow keys and press enter.
  3. Scroll to 'Ball On-Mode Auto Calculate' and set it to yes (Y).
  4. When a penalty is called on a play, the console will already have the settings for the current play entered.
  5. Press "Penalty Flag" button. Then, press "Ball on *".
  6. Enter the new placement of the ball (back or forward the amount of the penalty).
  7. Press enter. The down shouldn't increment, and the new To Go will be calculated.
