Cause

  • The Windows 7 Operating System date is changed to an earlier year. For example, the current year is 2012, the Windows 7 Operating System is set to the year 2007.

Resolution

  • Change the Windows 7 Operating System date back to the correct time, month, day and year.
    1. Right-click on the Desktop Time (bottom right corner), and choose Adjust Date/Time.

    3. Use the Calendar to choose the correct month, day and year.
    4. Use the Clock to adjust and choose the correct time.

    5. Click OK.
    6. Click Apply and OK.
      • Note: If the Windows 7 Operating System continues to default back to an earlier year, please contact your IT Department for assistance.
